JUNE WHITFIELD CBE - Renowned for her comic timing, June Whitfield is one of Britain's most loved comedy actresses.

She became a household name on 1950's radio in `Take It FromHere'. on radio and TV in 'Hancock's Half Hour' and with Terry Scott in the hit TV series Terry & June.

She has appeared in several Carry On films and had a huge personal success in `Absolutely Fabulous'.

Latterly, she has made regular appearances in 'Midsomer Murders', `The Last of the Summer Wine' and The Green Green Grass.

She was made a Commander of the British Empire in 1998 and became a Patron of Centre Stage Academy Theatre School in 2009.
