Acting Workshops

The core of our training is Acting which places emphasis on preparing students with the techniques for creating a character/role for the stage and screen. Students are encouraged to develop confidence and experiment with various styles and methods in comedy/drama through improvisation, devising, physical theatre, mime and mask study, stage combat, voice and speech, text analysis of monologues/duologues and scene study of the classics and modern scripts, as well as audition technique and presentation skills.

Singing

Primary importance is placed on the development of confidence in the singing voice. Vocal exercises, breathing and relaxation techniques help to increase range and fine tune tone and pitching, and both individual and ensemble work is covered.

Dance

Various styles of dance are covered including: Musical Theatre, Modern, Jazz, Jive, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Disco, Street Dance and Hip-Hop.
