Brett East-Founder and Director - Brett the Academy's founder & director is a professionally
trained actor, Brett made numerous appearances in various regional theatres as well
as the Palladium in London's West End! A trained T.V. presenter Brett co-presented
a live T.V. show and was also the acting coach for N.C. Theatre School where many
of his students went on to appear on T.V. in various projects.
Margaret Ferrari (Maggie) - Voice and Speech Coach - Maggie's career in theatre,
film and television has spanned many years. A voice coach with many voice-overs to
her credit, Maggie continued to work in the industry as administrator of Shakespeare's
Globe Theatre project as deputy to the late Sam Wanamaker, CBE. She has worked for
the BBC and has also been personal assistant to various producers and directors on
feature films at Twickenham, Shepperton and Pinewood Studios.
Rebecca Landsberger - Base Co-ordinator - Rebecca trained at the Arabesque School
of Performing Arts, and began her professional work at the age of 9 providing voice-overs,
as well as small parts in The Bill and Casualty and various commercials. Rebecca
has performed in a number of shows, as well as modelling for a number of top London
studios. She was also choreographer for All Star Kidz.
Michael Woudstra - Singing and Vocal Coach - Michael is an international vocal coach
and founder of the Voice Academy. He coaches both pop and musical theatre. Michael
has studied music, singing and composition in both England and Europe and has composed
for several musicals. Many students have benefited from his ground-breaking methods.
Michael uses a unique blend of techniques and his professional yet relaxed, fun approach
is well known for achieving amazing results.
Dave Berry, BA(Hons), IDTA - Dance Coach - Dave coaches Street dance and Hip-Hop
and is the founder of The Street Dance Company. He also has his own dance troop and
is involved in major projects from coaching large numbers of students in schools
to producing and choreographing shows.
Elisabeth Charbonneau, BA - Acting for Camera Coach
Elisabeth is an equity member and trained at the Second City Conservatory in Chicago.
She has worked with William Shatner, Eddie Murphy and interviewed Morgan Freeman.
She worked as writer and performer on the James Whale Show, writer producer and director
for takeover TV, E4 and BBC Bristol. She featured in the films True Story and Cold
Earth as well as the Basil Brush Show and commercials for Barry White and Kwik-Fit.
She also coaches acting and presenting for camera at many drama and theatre schools
and continues to work as an actress, presenter, writer, producer, director and voiceover
artist.
